Hi,
I'm using Trados Studio 2009 for translating html files, from English to traditional Chinses. Chinese in the preview window are all shown with "?????", but they can be show correct in the Save-as-target html files. Does anyone have a solution for this problem?

Thanks,
Kelvin Cheng

Resolved in the next update Jan 18, 2010

Hi Kelvin,

This issue has been resolved in the next release of a Service Pack that will be due for release pretty soon. I can't give you a date yet.

It seems that occassionaly when we created the preview file we used a source language compatible encoding, where we should have used a target language compatible encoding. We missed this problem in the previous release because it did not show up for Unicode encoded source files or for many language combinations that use the same code page. We have now added this check to our testing.

Kind regards

Paul
