SDL Trados 2009 - Problems activating my new license/returning my old licenses

Hi all,

I bought an upgrade from SDL Trados 2007 to SDL Trados 2009 and during the installation process I was asked to return my old licenses for 2007, which I did, but somehow I don't get the activation code for 2009.
In my account on Translationzone.com I still see the message that there's an upgrade available but I'm still asked to return my old licenses, but I already did that, so I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Did anybody have the same problem?

Activation code Jan 29, 2010

Hi Evelyn
when you see the message of upgrade available, you should click and enter into it, it should open a new window with the new activation code.

If this does not appear, don't hesitate to contact support: go to my support - > Licensing and installation help - > step 3 solution finder - >Download and installation problems (on the left pane) - > I get an error message during installation- > i get another error message. This will bring you to a special form that is sent to support unit, and they will contact you (pretty fast!) and solve the problem.
It happened to me several times (when changing PCs) and they are quite efficient.

However, do you have support contract with SDL as I don't see the steps you mention in my account.
