Hi
I guess this question deals with format paint.
I'm translating a text with SDLX Lite and I've got a format issue.
The expression is DinaViewTM Technology
Dinaview = blue colour TM (upperscript) = yellow colour Technology = Green colour
For the translation to be OK in Portuguese I would be:
Tecnologia DinaViewTM ---> this is:
Tecnologia = blue colour DinaView = yellow colour TM (upperscript) = Green colour
I don't know how to do this change.
Thank you in advance for your help, Ivana ▲ Collapse

Better view tabs as text

Format painting is tricky sometimes. I always view the tags as text. Then you are able to highlight both text and tags and switch them around using draw and drop with the mouse. Regards Heinrich

Export to TTX

I have always refused ITD jobs because of format painting (or have told clients that I will do the translation but not the painting). Then I discovered that most (all?) ITD files can be exported to TTX, and back. Do you have that option? The important thing to remember is that you mustn't change the filename (or at least, change it back to what SDL Edit made it).
