Hi,
I have Windows 7 (Release candidate) 32-bit, but unlike Windows XP, when I try to access the Filter settings (Start/SDL International/SDL Trados 2007 Freelance/Trados/Filters/Filter settings) I receive an error message:
Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately.

If I click continue, I can access the settings, but I cannot make some of desired changes (such as Adapt font sizes sau Adapt text colours).
Any ideas to fix the problem?

Hello Bob,
It seems that some components are missing or corrupted. I would recommend disabling the Windows 7 User Account Control function as it has been known to prevent a clean installation. Once you have done this please run a repair installation on SDL Trados 2007.
Please follow these instructions to disable UAC:
1. Go to Start > Control Panel > User Accounts
2. Select the "Change User Account Control Settings" option

4. Select “OK” to save all changes.
5. Please restart your computer for the changes to take effect.
Once you have restarted your computer please run a repair on SDL Trados 2007 Freelance:
1. Go to Start > Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features
2. Select "SDL Trados 2007" from the list
3. Choose "Repair"
This will run the original installer, replacing any missing or corrupt files.

Hi all,
We contacted Bogdan directly and found the error message was related to an older issue with running the Filter Settings application on a PC with over 2GB of RAM. This only affects SDL Trados 2007 SP2 users.
