I have
Trados Freelance Suite 2007, on Windows XP

I have a txt file, that I want to translate in TagEditor. I try to open thisfile txt in TagEditor and get the followinmg message:

Fehler beim Verwenden des Plug-in-Dateifilters:
(I suppose: error using the Plug-in filefilter)

Unexpected failure in Codepages property for Com plug-in component
RegExFileFilter. TextFileFileScanner

Möchten Sie trotzdem versuchen, die Datei zu öffnen?
(do you want to try to open the file?)

I can click yes or no,following appears:

(80003):Der Dateityp dieses Dokuments ist unbekannt. TagEditor kann das
Dokument nicht öffnen.
(The filetype of the document is unknown.TagEditor can't open the document)

I just tried the hint from the SDL knowledgebase (2355), but it doesn't work at all!!!

A friend of mine was able to open it and save a ttx-file from the same document, so I could work with it, but I need to solve the problem for future projects!!!

PLease help!
PS: I know I could work in Word, but I need a solution for this problem, thanks
