Error during clean-up of ttx file created from Microsoft Office 2007 Excel file

Help! I can't clean-up the ttx file created from a Mic Office 2007 excel file, I get the following error:
-2147467529 Il tag di inizio "cell" sulla riga 1 non corrisponde al tag di fine "cf" Riga 1, posizione 12124.

(which roughly translates as: The 'cell' start tag on line 1 does not correspond to the 'df' end tag Line 1, position 1214.)

All help appreciated!

Does the untranslated document save properly? Feb 22, 2010

Please check. if your Excel does save fine before you even start translating.
If yes, you have a tag error - verify the filewith F8, double click the error messages to get to the error location and correct it.
If no, try to save Excel 2007 as Excel 2003 and process this file.

Saved as Excel 2003 Feb 22, 2010

Thanks - the file saved fine before working on it (and the ttx saved fine).

Don't know if/how I got a tag error as I always I the protection on high, so it checks before I close each segment.

Anyway, I just managed to save it as excel 2003, re-run the TM through, clean it up and then save it back as excel 2007... (first time round tag editor froze up when opening the 2003 file).

Internal tags are not protected in Studio Feb 22, 2010

(and thanks God they are not, otherwise no working would be possible)
so deleting them is an easy case. And as the tag verification is done on the fly, you might simly have had overseen the warning.
