During startup of the application WinAlign with the icon "align translated documents" on the Studio 2009 homepage this error message appeared:
• Object reference not set to an instance of an object

The startup process cannot continue and it is not possible to open the application.

Details of these error message see below:

Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

Do you have also a solution for this problem or do you know who can help me by this technical problem?

Regards
Marcel

You need Trados 2007 Feb 22, 2010

Hi,

Studio 2009 does not have it's own align tool - it uses Win Align which is a part of Trados 2007 (SDL along with the licence for Studio gave you also a licence for Trados 2007 - you need to download it, install and activate the licence.

Hi Stanislaw

Thanks for your advice. Do I need to install the full version of the Trados 2007 program or can I only install WinAlign?

regards
Marcel
