Dear all,

I get the following message when I try to save segments of a project:

"object reference not set for an instance of the object"

I would appreciate your urgent help on this matter!

Many thanks in advance.

I had the same problem Apr 16, 2010

I had the same problem a month or two back. Nothing I did seemed to help. I was advised by the people at Trados to do this:

"Delete the following files in C:\Documents and Settings\\Application Data\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\9.1.0.0 and restart. If you are using Vista it will be C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\9.1.0.0\.

BaseSettings.xml
Plugincache.xml
UserSettings.xml"

I actually renamed the files in case it didn't work, but it did! Be warned, it restores the Trados installation to factory settings, but at least it gets the system working again.

Regards and hope this helps.

Mary
