Hello everybody,
I want to reunite most of my translation memories in a single one and I was wondering if anybody knows the intelligent way of doing it - the stupid way, I know, which is to pick up the backup files, save them in Word and then clean them up in the new memory. The problem is that I have hundreds of these files and after a certain point I got fed up with the exercise.
I also tried the Import feature, but no document appears on the TT folder, except other folders.
I am using Trados 6, Windows 2007 and Office XP.
Would appreciate any ideas.
TIA
Ana

three simple steps Apr 19, 2010

1. Export your TMs
2. Create a new (comprehensive) TM
3. Import all your TMs into the new TM

It should work.

Thank you. So far I did not have any success with your suggestions, but I will keep trying and will tell you later if they worked.
TIA
Ana
