Hi,

I'm taking a while to get used to Trados.

I'm translating an HTML document and the source text has an anchor tag embedded in a segment as shown in this screenshot:

How do I get that tag over to the target side? It seems like such a simple thing but I can't find any simple way of doing it.

Help me please!

Thank you

Should be working. You can define all keyboard shortcuts under Tools > Options > Keyboard shortcuts.

Your TAGs-Answer Apr 21, 2010

Hi Stanislav,
Althrough I didn't put the question, I just had the same problem as Bevan.
By chance I found your answer and it has helped me a lot, as it obviously worked out well.
So, thank you very much indeed!
Many, many greetings from Germany,
Helena

Unexpected result!!! Apr 21, 2010

I laughed out loud when I tried this - I obviously didn't get the same result as Helena!!

When I pressed Ctrl+Alt+Down arrow, the whole screen turned upside down!!!

After disabling hotkeys in a piece of graphics software that was installed on my machine, I got the result I was looking for.

Thank you Stanislav!

Intel graphics driver? Apr 22, 2010

Hi Bevan,
I guess you have the Intel Graphics Media Accelerator, don't you?
That's a well-known issue I forgot to mention in my post.

Yes! You know far too much for your own good!

I didn't install it myself though, this is a company computer. I wouldn't be caught dead running a windows machine, i.e. not linux! (although Trados is proving to very helpful and the open source OmegaT CAT software is still in early development stages)

Maybe I can steal some ideas from trados and help the development of OmegaT? If only I had time ...
