Hello,

It's the first time I have to work with a .mdb TM... I have to import a new TMX TM into the existing .mdb one. What should I do?

Thank you very much

What tools are you intending to use? May 8, 2010

Hi Daniele,

You mention this is the first time you have used an mdb so I'm guessing SDLX isn't your normal tool. What tool do you intend to work with?

If it's Studio, then no problem. Two easiest choices;

1. Upgrade the mdb to an sdltm and them simply import the new tmx into it
2. Upgrade the mdb and tmx at the same time into one sdltm

If Workbench then maybe export the mdb from SDLX as a tmx and then import to a new tmw. Then import the tmx to your tmw.

If you are intendiing to try and work with SDLX then just open the mdb with SDL Maintain and then select TM Import TMX from the file menu.

Regards

Paul
