Hi,

I have repeatedly tried to use Multiterm 2007 in Word 2003, but to no avail.

I have got the Multiterm tab in my Word Menu. When trying to select a termbase and clicking on the button 'select a termbase' I can see only one option, 'sample'. There is no possibility to add other termbases.

By the way, the Multiterm licence is activated.

I would appreciate very much, if somebody could help me here!

Britta

It's a Multiterm bug.

The complete analysis of the problem can be found in the thread:

By the way, the Multiterm licence is activated.

AFAIK Multiterm doesn't require activation.

Cheers

Java fails now May 18, 2010

Ok it still doesn't work properly...

I have disabled the UAC for them moment, and indeed found the termbase.

But if I want to enter a new term, I keep getting this:

1. an alert "Zero"
after clicking OK
2. java.long.zeropointException
after clicking OK an empty field.
If I try to enter something I get

3. Java script error on page...

error: first child is zero or no object

URL: file:///C:/Program%20Files/SDL%20International/MultiTerm%202007/Editor/script/traverse.js

(I got these messages in German, I hope I translated them properly)

This is sooo frustrating...

MAybe you have got an idea here?

Thank you again for your help!!!

Britta

Being a bad guy, I often say it's a normal Multiterm state...

First at all, double check you have installed the Java version provided with Multiterm.
The Multiterm programmers are not very skilled in Java and a Java version mismatch may be fatal.

Then see the thread:
