Expanding segments in Workbench

Working in Word, I didn't expand a segment at the right moment. I realized later when I had set it and closed it. I opened it again, but when I want to expand the English segment, it doesn't allow me to do so.
With other next segments in the same translation I didn't have any problem.

It also underlines words in the target language.

Apparently, Trados got crazy. What I can do with these two issues?

Thank you in advance,

Hi, Argee Jun 8, 2010

1. Restore the entire original segment - including the part you want to include (Alt-Del).
2. Select some text from this segment and press Alt-Up to open Concordance in Workbench.
3. Delete the segment from the TM (Right-click the flag, Delete).
4. Expand the segment (Ctrl+Alt+Pg.Dn)

The underlining is a different story altogether and is probably related to manual formatting of the original style.
Applying another style to the original text usually solves the problem.

Dear HTH,

The issue with the segments worked wonderfully! I even practiced it with other segments.

With this action, part of my target language got solved about the underlining. However, I don't understand exactly what you mean. If I apply a different style to the source text probably the client won't be very happy... Is that what you mean?

Thank you for your help. Segments are a major issue. The underlined situation is still bearable. I hope, though, it doesn't appear in other documents.

Best regards,
