Hi all,

This is just a quick email to explain about a new feature in the Customer Centre that you may have seen already, and how it works.

Customers with Freelance licenses which include Extra Activations (SDL Trados 2007 and Studio 2009 Freelance Plus) are now able to see details of both their main license and Extra Activations, like this;

You can find more details about this in the Customer Centre by clicking on the small blue question mark shown above. The most important part of this is that you now have control over this and can avoid leaving yourselves without a license at all (normally this happens after 5pm on a Friday nighticon_wink.gif) by reporting this to Support as soon as you use one of these up in error as a result of forgetting or being unable to return your activation code, even if you still have one left open. This way you can ensure that you always have one available at least for the time when your computer crashes and can get yourself up and running without being so reliant upon SDL Support.

To report the fact when you have lost a license you can use the Solution Finder like this;

http://talisma.sdl.com

Then go to the tab called Solution Finder and now go here;

Licensing Problems
- I have lost one of my license activations

This will bring up a form that you can fill in to generate a support request and you will be contacted, normally within a day.

Regards

Paul
