How to preserve info about matched segments in Copy/Paste operation?

Simple question. I'm working with SDLedit on a translation file that has already segments which are 100% matched (yellow coloured). I copy the entire file in Excel (the right column only) and do some work there. Once finished, I paste the results back in SDL. The problem is that the colors disappear. In other words, all the information about the segments that were marked as matched is lost. What can I do to avoid that?
Thank you,
