I am using SDL Trados 2007 Freelancer (build 863) contained in the Trados 2009 package.
It was successful to create the Termbase file in SDL Multiterm 2009. However, when I try to add the Termbase file as local under Options >> Term Recognition Options, after selecting the location/file, both the dialog box and Workbench itself disappers automatically. Then, I cannot use the Termbase file in the Workbench. Please advise me how to fix this problem. Thank you.

Try to reset/repair the Multiterm settings using the SideBySude package.
It should help unless your MT is damaged (it may happen).

You should also reregister the Trados 2007 components.

Cheers
