Trados: original text disappears

Somehow or other the settings in Trados have changed on my computer and now, instead of seeing both the original (German) text and the (English) translation, I only see the latter. I have searched through Trados workbench and through the Trados option in the menu but have not been able to alter this view so that it is possible to see both the German and English in the uncleaned version.

tools... options and clic on hidden text. If that´s the problem, this should do it.

Simply check your view settings in Word.
Go to "Extras" "Optionen" "Ansicht" und make sure, that the checbox "Ausgeblendeten Text" is selected. Or select "Alle" to show all non printable characters.
