I can't install SDL Trados Studio 2009 SP1 and SP2. Both want .Net Framework 3.5 SP1.

As on another topic ,i have seen that i must install Net frameworks one by one. So i installed 1 - 2 - 3 - 3.5 and 3.5 SP1 one by one, restarting my system on each install. Even when i do have Net Framework 3.5 SP1 , it gives me the error "Net framework 3.5 SP1 not found". I use XP.

I can't do anything on Windows 7 because It gives the same error message. I can't simply install Net framework 3.5 SP1 on Windows 7 because Windows 7 is not on the supported OS list. I have Net framework 3.5.1 instead ( which is for Windows 7) ,but i still get the same error.

What shall i do?
Thank you

You should install the software as it comes Aug 11, 2010

I am not a specialist for installation questions, but...
Trados does inistall on Windows 7 with no porblems.
However, I did not install anything in prior, but have let the software install the needed components itself.
Maybe you try to uninstall ALL .Framework instances from your computer, clean the registry and try again to install Trados? On Windows 7 make sure you install the software as administrator.
