I have XML files that were processed with SDL Trados 2009 and cannot do anything with them as I don't own the suite. Is there any way to get an older version to use these?

Thank you,

If still in source format, yes Aug 31, 2010

If the files are still in source format (XML), you can process them using Trados 2007 or another CAT tool.
If they have been converted to SDLXLIFF and you don't have the sources, then unfortunately no.
