I've never seen this before and I fear it has something to do with this morning's update to Studio SP2 9.1.1264.0.

I have a ttx file and the is scattered throughout both in tageditor and studio. It's only where an 'ä' or 'ö' were, but only about 5% of them are altered. Worse still, sometimes the hides an adjacent letter making it hard to guess what the real word is.

I'm translating Swedish to English. Any ideas? Is it just a corrupted source? I opened a few older files and they display fine.

TIA

Check the source Sep 6, 2010

Is the source utilizing a font you don't have on your system?
Does the source open properly?
What you ecnounter is not a Trados problem, but just a plain code page problem.

My source is a ttx and the font is on my system. It seems that the corruption occurred during conversion from the website. Thanks.
