Hello everybody,

I have been trying to export a translation memory from tmw format to tmx. Everytime the process seems to be completed, no TU is in fact exported. Workbench says "Export finished successfully. 0 of 0 TUs exported."
Is there something I am not doing ?
Thanks for your help !

Pierre

Did you set a filter? Oct 9, 2010

This process is usually very straightforward. in Workbench, you go to File - Export, click on 'OK', choose the destination folder, type the file name and click on OK.

When you get to the second screen named 'Export', is there any filter selected?

Check how many entries (File - Properties - Translation Units) your TM has before you run the export.

no filter - 0 entry when checking Oct 10, 2010

Hello Walter, thanks a lot for your answer,

I agree, this process is usually very simple. It is the first time I have such a problem exporting a TM.

I did not set any filter, and when I check the number of entries, TM seems to contain no entry.
I simply don't understand why.

Have you ever heard of this before ?

If your source TM is empty ... Oct 10, 2010

... I am not surprised that the export contains 0 entries!

You'll have to find out what is wrong with your TM, why it is empty. Did you choose the right one?

Walter
