Studio 2009 not launching after upgrade to SP3

Hi all,
IS at work downloaded/installed SP3 to my computer (they are the only ones with admin access to our intranet).
Now when I try to launch the program, the folling error message pops-up:

"Unexpected exception when getting view part instance of view part Translation Results"

Does anyone know what this could possibly mean and how to fix it?

Also, I had them download the beta version of "Preview Generator". Could this be causing the problem?... See more

Please try to remove the following files Oct 15, 2010

C:\Documents and settings\User_name\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\9.1.0.0
\BaseSettings.xml
C:\Documents and settings\User_name\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\9.1.0.0
\UserSettings.xml

Removing those 2 files seems to have done the trick.
