Hello

I have some English text to be translated into Arabic.

Now, whenever I insert something in parenthesis, something

in English, then 'save target as', the parenthesis order is not correct.

Example: In Trados I write:

الشمس (sun) جميلة

in MS WORD there is

الشمس )sun( جميلة

Is there something not correct in my settings or what ?

Seems like you type like you want to write from right to left (in arabic) and the software gets it from left to right ( like english) or reverse.
Though I don't translate arabic I had documents in english which behaved exactly this way with Trados and it was not linked to the font or language, though I changed the font, and the default font of the document, etc.

Ended copying the text in notepad then from notepad to another word doc to eliminate any formating, though it is not a very elegant solution to the problem.
