Hello,

Opening files on TagEditor takes a lot of time, around 20 - 30 seconds, and the files are not that heavy. Do I have to change something? Can anyone help me with this?

Regards!
Mariana.

textboxes might be the cause Oct 29, 2010

Sorry for copying my own post cuz your problem is similar with another's in the forum.

Hi Mariana,

I once came across one similar issue when I opened MS-PPT files which contains numerous textboxes with Trados TE.

SDL Trados has official solution for that with hotfixes.

I can send you these hotfixes(around 6M in winzip format) if your files are also with many textboxes.

Besides,

What's the version of your Tageditor?

What's your operating system?

What's the format of your files?
