After numerous attempts to activate my license, I contacted SDL and the person I talked to
changed my license type to a 'nodelocked' license file.
Well, this is what happened...
Ok, I followed the directions for Trados 2009 and when I tried to use it, it went into license activation. Then I get this message saying I need a license.
Then I log on the SDL license manager and get the following message about the licesne status.
No information about SDL licenses could be retrieved. Please check your license locations.
The specified license could not be found.
When I log onto the license locations, I have both license folders saved in the c drive.
Since I couldn't get the license manager for trados 2007, I just went straight to the license mamager. I did this after I clicked on Return License, then redowloaded it. When I try to use SDLX, it only lets me access:
Translating in SDLX
When I click on SDL Passolo, this is the message I get:
Check for local dongle:
Dongle driver not found or server not up (SP_SERVER_PROBABLY_NOT_UP)
Check for network dongle:
Dongle Error 69 (SP_NO_SERVER_RESPONSE)
Check for license file:
FlexLM returns error -1 (Can't find license file)
Check for FlexLM online activation
FlexLM returns error -5 (No such feature exists)
My question is, should I uninstall the software?
