Cannot open file generated by SDL Trados Studio 2009 in Word 2007
Thread poster: Maddie Sparkly

Everything seems perfect until I create target document and try to open it. I have MS Word 2007 installed and I just cannot open target document, it resturns error (Word has encountered a problem).
I use SDL Trados Studio 2009 SP3.
Does anyone know how to solve this issue?

I'm having exactly the same problem. Would someone have a suggestion to resolve the matter?

Thanks in advance

Did you check the source file opening properly? Dec 21, 2010

Try to use "open and repair" function on untouched source, save it, open in Studio, retranslate and try with this file.

Please be more precise Dec 21, 2010

What did not work?
Opening the source in Word? Retranslating the repaired document?
