I have created a project in trados 2007.

Subsequently i changed the folder where the project is stored-i moved all the relevant project files in another folder.

As a result when i click "Start Translation" in the "start" view of trados i get the message that the local file is not found, something normal after the change of the destination folder.

How i can fix this.

I want Trados to search for the translation files in the new folder i have created.

I know that from now on i will not have any problems.

The problem has to do with the current project which when i created in the beginning it had different destination folder.

Trados has kept in its memory the old destination folder regarding the current project.

What do you propose?

Open the project from its location Jan 4, 2011

Go to File - Open - Project and navigate to the folder where you moved your original project files. Select the project file, that is the one with the blue icon and the extension .sdlproj.

Studio will recreate the project and you will again see it listed in your list of projects.

The problem is not that i do not see the project listed-i DO see it listed.

The problem it that when i click the listed project i get the message file not found.

I hope it is more clear now.

What you see listed is the now invalid information about a project with that name, that could be found in the original folder.

Dimitri, do exactly what Walter proposes. Load the project as a new project.
It should work.

I tried what Walter proposed and i still get the error message.

Local file not found...

I went to the file menu, then open and then the error message appears.

Any idea?

I managed to solve the issue after all.

I detached the project and re-attached it again.

Thanks for the help.
