Greyed options in Workbench

I create a new TM, import some TMX file and close that TM.
The next time I open that TM, the options File/Setup Import Export Reorganise are all greyed out.

Running Translator's Workbench/SDLX, Version 8.0
The installed licenses are SDL Studio 2007 and 2009 Pro.

Did you open the TM in 'Exclusive Mode'? Jan 5, 2011

You need to open the TM in exclusive mode in order to get access to the Import/Export and Reorganize functions.

Trados version mismatch? Jan 5, 2011

Many sessions of my T2007 gave grayed out menu. I found them as Trados version mismatch on my new PC [T2007/T2009 using the same license]when it was OK in my old PC. I needed to upgrade the TM and handle it (e.g. import, export, merge).

I solved it easily after opening the TM in exclusive mode.

No idea why Workbench unselected that option.

A new TM gets opened in non-exclusive mode by default Jan 5, 2011

meaning that you need once to check this option in order to open it in exclusive mode.

Hello Fernando,

I think the reason is to avoid export/import operations when the TM is opened by more translators in concurrent use
