Involved software (same on both machines): Trados Studio SP3, SDL MultiTerm SP3, TagEditor 188.8.131.523, Workbench 184.108.40.2063, Word 2007.
Now, on the first machine everything works fine. And that's exactly what is puzzling me: TagEditor's Word spelling checker refuses to work on the second machine, which has exactly the same software environment.
This is what I have been trying on the second machine:
1. New, clean install of both Trados (complete suite) and Office. 2. Registering of SDL Trados 2007 (batch utility). 3. Every possible combination of normal run/run as administrator involving Trados and Word.
Nothing did it. Now I'm using the Winter Tree spelling checker, which forces me to edit ttx files which are set to swiss italian as destination language (Winter Tree has just IT-IT).
