Hi to all,

I just subscribed and I am taking this opportunity to ask whether you have come across this situation when using trados in word files: the layout of the target segment changes every time I set/close a segment, e.g fonds automatically turn bold or italics or both. Is there any trick to solve this?

Thank you all for replying

Nikoletta

Use TagEditor or switch to SDL Trados Studio 2009 Jan 24, 2011

and if that is not an option: serch please this forum for "font changes" or similar.
Beside converting PDFs this used to be one of the most discussed topics here.

In short: this is mostly because of local formatting and beside correcting the formatting of your source file there is not much you can do about it.
