TagEditor and numbers (XLIFF filter)

I have some XLF files to be translated, straight from CopyFlow.
I noticed the wordcount was higher than with some ISC files from Trados.

I realized that numbers were taken into account and, in TagEditor, translators have to "translate" them which is a waste of time.
Is there a way to exclude numbers from a particular tag setting file?

Thanks for your help,
