Error when adding new term

Hi all,
I have no idea why this is happening, but when I want to add a new term to my termbase, a pop-up appears saying "Your current security settings do not allow this file to be downloaded"

First of all: why would opening Multiterm invoke a download command?
Secondly: this never happened until 2 weeks ago, there are no other 'strange things' going on such as viruses
And lastly: How can I repair this without having to uninstall/install?
