I work with Trados 6.5 and I received some TagEditor files to translate. They are all .rtf files and I can open the files, but I can't open the translation units. I do have the possibility Open segment, but it doesn't open. Is it because files were converted in an other Trados version? If yes, what can I do about it? Client won't be back until thursday...
Thanks for letting me know!

Trados Wokbench with the correspondent Translation Memory has to be also opened, not only TagEditor.

Some things to try Feb 22, 2011

Just what comes to mind:

- Check that the files are not write-protected/read-only.
- Save the rtf files as doc files and try again.
- copy/paste the content of the file into a new rtf file, save under different name.

Hope one of these helps!
