Hello there,

I have a word file that I am translating on SDL Trados Studio 2009 (English into Spanish). However, when I save the target file all the text I translated appears, but the whole text is crossed out by a line. I am not sure what is the problem. The file is definitely a Word one, but it is a file with many things highlighted, and instructions for typesetters so maybe it has some more complex things going on.

Anyone can help? Any ideas how can I open it on Trados and work normally (so far i can do this) but then save the target file properly too?

Many thanks

I found out what it was. After playing many times with the documents I realised all I had to do was open the Source file in Word and do any kind of ammend and then save (so I guess this is like making the file belong to me) and then open in Trados and translate, and now it works fine.
