I work in Trados Studio 2009 SP3 with the OpenExchangeApps installed. I have several clients that send me ttx files; I have that covered. Now a new client has sent me a doc file for a test translation and wants it back in itd format. How can I do that?

SDL Edit Mar 11, 2011

You must create bilingual doc file in *.itd format using Trados 2007: SDLX >SDL Edit. Next, open and translate with Trados Studio 2009 Editor. Save back as *.itd file and deliver to client.

That was quick! :-) Mar 11, 2011

Thank you for the swift answer.
I know from experience that the mere opening of e.g. Workbench causes all kind of problems in Studio 2009. No such problems expected when opening SDLX?

T2009 SP2 Mar 11, 2011

My T2009 SP2 never gives errors for ITD file and TTX files created by T2007, but you may want T2009 SP3: the latest version.
