Hi,

I have installed Studio SP 3 on my computer. It worked until I installed SP 4 for Multiterm.

Now I am asked to enter my licence key when I start Studio. My SDL account displays my licence key but says under "verfügbar" 0 (zero). But I have a permanent licence.

I have no idea what to do and I am in the midst of two large projects.

Can anyone help?

Regards,

Susanne

Log a support case Mar 17, 2011

Hello Susanne,
every SDL Trados user is elligible for free support on installation and licensing issue. I would therefore recommend that you log a support case over your profile.

Studio does not work after SP4 installation Mar 17, 2011

Hello Stanislav,

Sorry, but what profile? I have even entered in a talisma conversation and tell me my licences are permanent. Which they obviously are not.

I updated to Studio SP 3 last year. When I now upload this again and try to install it a licence key is requested.

It is always the same: never change a running system.

I have uninstalled everything in the meantime and tried to reinstall - it doesn't work.

Regards,

Susanne

Licence Problem solved with the help of sdl.webex.com Mar 17, 2011

Hi all,

The collegues of SDL found out that the problem with the licence was my fsecure protection service. It was not a problem of Trados.

The help was quick and professional.

I am happy to be back to work

Regards,

Susanne

Enter your code again and link to Solution Finders Mar 17, 2011

Dear Susanne,

Have you already tried entering your same code again?

If you are searching for technical assistance regarding licensing or downloading and installing our software, please browse to our Solution Finders on http://kb.sdl.com/index.aspx?t=sf.

Since there is no chat function on our knowledge base, I suspect you used LiveChat at our on-line shop?

Best regards,
Judith

Fsecure prevents licence Mar 17, 2011

Hi Judith,

What do you mean by "code"?

I used the sdl.webex.com address.

Regards,

Susanne

Activation Code Mar 17, 2011

Hi Susanne,

I meant typing in your same activation code again. But please ignore this, as Richard told me all is fine now.

Best regards,
Judith
