Hello,

The (automatically generated) table of contents has disappeared from my target document in Word (the source was in the 97 - 2003 version, I have the 2010 version) after translation in Studio 2009.

Just a small problem that I could rectify manually if I wanted to take the time, but would like to know if there is a trick to get it back without manual insertion of the headings?

Thanks in advance!icon_smile.gif

Disappeared? Mar 29, 2011

What do you mean by "disappeared"? Is a field named "TOC" displayed instead?

right click and update Mar 29, 2011

That's good. Just right click on that field and choose "update". That should rebuild your table of contents.

If you want to update all fields... Mar 29, 2011

... then select the whole document and press F9 (in Windows). Works for at least Word 2003 onwards. I use it all the time in my invoice templates with automatic calculations.
