Now after I created termbases last week I would like to use them, but when I open one (brows to the location and select one of the sdltb-files) the software announces that this termbase is already open and if I want to go on opening termbases. But on the multiterm surface is nothing to be seen, and nothing I can do. This is the most infuriating piece of s..oftware I have seen since a long time.
How do I get going? I need to look up terms either in TE or Studio.

Delete the .ldb file Apr 5, 2011

Hello Heinrich,
use the Windows Explorer or Total Commander to navigate to the folder containing the termbase. There should be an .ldb file with the same name as your termbase file. E.g. if your termbase has the name "mytermbase.sdltb", the database lock file will have the name "mytermbase.ldb".

Close MultiTerm/Studio, delete this ldb file and try again. This has worked for me.

I see hidden files. Search for .ldb without result.

I switched to Wordfast Classic and txt-glossary Apr 5, 2011

Now I can resolve this multiterm problem without stress.
