Converting back from .mif.sdlxliff to .mif

Ok, have run into an issue on a large Framemaker project.
Have worked on over 100 files in .mif (v8) Framemaker Interchange EN to JA in Trados (.sdlxliff).
Then convert back to .mif, but 3 files just refuse to convert back to .mif. All files were worked on the same machine, same software, but for some reason 3 files cannot be converted back to .mif.

Just get an error message "File unable to be saved" when we try to convert back.
Any ideas?
