When I save my document with the translated segments, I get this message: The document being saved contains tracked changes. Continue with save?
I attempted to turn the "Track Changes" off in the Tools menu; but I am unable to do so.
This means that I can translate all I want - I will not be able to "clean up" the document.
What do I do?
Is it possible that the author of my document inserted some kine of restrictive codes?
Any ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Have you tried "Accept all changes"? Mar 26, 2004

Hi Antoinette.

I'm not sure if this will solve the problem, but you can try this:
1) In MS Word, click "Tools" > "Track Changes" > "Accept or Reject Changes".
2) Once there, select the "Changes without highlighting" option.
3) Then, click the "Accept All" button.
4) In the pop-up screen that appears, select "Yes"
5) Back in the "Accept or Reject Changes" screen, click "Close".

Apart from that, there's an awesome forum about Trados at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/TW_users/, which is free.

I hope this helps.

Regards,
Jerónimo
