Bringing Suite 2007 segmentation rules close to Studio's

Since I couldn't yet solve my problem described at I am thinking of retranslating the two large files in Tageditor after having exported the TM and converted the DOCX to DOC (since Suite 2007 has problems with DOCX anyway I believe).

I tried that, but there are many segmentation differences, so the process is not automatic. Also, since the TM also contains legacy translations (some of which should be used in the translation), these sometimes come up with the 2007 segmentation, which complicates things further.

Therefore I'm wondering if someone knows how to configure Workbench 2007 segmentation rules so that they are as close as possible to default segmentation rules of Studio. I could go with trial and error, but I don't feel confident in my understanding of how this works. For example, Suite 2007 segments a particular sentence on a symbol tag (which Studio doesn't); however when I look at the segmentation rules in 2007, I see none relating to symbols, only Full Stop, Tab, Colon, Marks ("?!") and End of paragraphs...
