I am having trouble saving the target file in Trados 2009. I was sent the source as an .ODT file and am finished with the translation. Now, when I go to save, the saved (target) document comes up empty (reads 0 bytes) when I try to open it in Word. I have tried saving several times, as well as closing out of the program and opening it again. Each time, I get the same result - the saved target file is empty.

There are no error messages that pop up; for some reason, however, the target file simply will not save.

Any thoughts on this issue would be appreciated.

Unless you have Sun ODF plugin installed, you won't be able to open an ODF file with any Microsoft Office program. So, install LibreOffice or and try opening there. Does the problem persist?
