Trados in WinXP x64

Hello, ProZ community.

I'm a freelance translator and tried to install Trados in my computer. The installation was successful, but when I try to run the program, it shuts down and says "This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect."

After some research I found out that the problem was Microsoft Visual C++ 2005. I installed it, but apparently Trados looks up for the x86 version, that I also have but I can't activate. Is there any workaround for this problem? I tried using compatibility mode, but it didn't work either.

Thanks in advance.

Jhonnyot.
