Problem with SDL License

I purchased the full SDL 2009 Studio Freelance version. I have been using the product once I activated it with my License and when I was going to use it again to finish a translation, the software did not allow me to access my files and requested a valid license, which I have and already used to activate the product. Now I cannot access my files and lost all my work which I have to begin again. Can anyone help me with any suggestion? It is very difficult to get answers from the SDL automated system.

Use the Solution Finder. Jul 29, 2011

I used the Solution Finder like this... guessing at your symptons;

Licensing Problems
- I am using SDL Trados (Studio, Translator's Workbench, SDLX, MultiTerm, SDL Passolo Essential, ...).
- - Activation code
- - - You have correctly followed the instructions from KB article #1349: Licensing via Activation Codes.
- - - - The state of your license is Damaged.

This led me to this article that might be useful:

If not, then the next step in the Solution Finder will allow you to submit a case like this:

- - - - - I have followed the instructions in KB article #3544, but the state is still Damaged.

The licensing team will be back to you, normally within a day... but that won't be until Monday at the earliest now.

Thank you Paul, I followed your instructions and the license is not listed. I received the following message when I tried to repair: No information about SDL licenses could be retrieved. Please check your license locations.
The license server is either down, not existing or not responding.
