Converting an XML file to ITD for use in SDLX Lite (SDL Edit)

I'm trying to work out how to do the above- do I need to use Trados 2007 (I have both 2007 and 2009) but can't work out how to do it, particularly as I'm not an expert with 2007 at all!

I need to provide an ITD file so another translator without Trados can access and edit the files created.

Any ideas?
