after aligning the file names and the file pairs.

I exported source and target from PDF-files, saved them as Word 2003-2007 files and tried to align. The maximum I get is the alignment of the file pairs, then it crashes. The commandos reviev and export are greyed out.

I started from the beginning again, saving the word files, creating new project and it even got worse: couldn't align the file names nor the pairs.

I tried it on my 2 computers: this one W7, the other one on XP.

Any ideas?

The first thing that comes to mind is that the files may be too big WinAlign. Unfortunately, WinAlign has issues with "large" files. Have you tried breaking them up into smaller bits?

Thank you, merinber, I think you are right. I gave up and did the alignment in MemoQ were it was a smoth job.
