I can't open a sdltm file with Trados 2007

Hi everyone,

I received a sdltm file from my client, but I can't open it with SDL Trados 2007 Workbench.
Is there a way to import or convert it?

Hi Aleksandar,

SDLTM is the TM format for SDL Trados Studio 2009 Translation Memories.

If you want to work with 2007, you would have to export the SDLTM in Studio as TMX first and then import that into a new Trados 2007 TMW.

You can do this in Studio by right clicking and select export in TM Maintenance View.

If you don't own Studio and want to work in 2007, you would have to ask the client for a TMX export.
