Hi Samuel,
1. I think the user name would fall under Attributes. In this case, they would need to add a penalty for attribute differences, but then this would encompass other differences for which they might not necessarily want to apply penalties.
2. Yes, it's a separate software. They would need to convert your glossaries using MultiTerm Convert and then import and open them in MultiTerm Desktop.
3. AFAIK, there is no black list feature in any version of TRADOS.
HTH,
Nicolas

G'day everyone
I'm a WFC user but a colleague of mine (who helps me with a large project) uses TagEditor. I would like him to benefit from my TMs, glossaries and blacklist, but I don't know whether Trados 2007 supports it in a way that is sufficient (I'll be checking his work in WFC anyway, so if he doesn't use the right words, I'll fix it anyway, but it could be nice for him to use the right stuff from the beginning).
1. In WFC, you can penalise a TU (translation unit in the TM) based on the user ID, and you can also see in WFC if a match was penalised (the match percentage is shown in red instead of blue). Does Trados 2007 have this too? Where can I find information about how to do this?
2. In WFC I have three glossaries, of two of which needs to be followed very closely and one needs to be consulted with an open mind. Does Trados 2007 have a simple glossary feature that can import these WFC glossaries (essentially tab-delimited files with 2 or 3 columns)? Or must a separate program be used for that?
3. WFC has a blacklist feature, i.e. a list of words that should not occur in the translation. If I use such a word, the blacklist warns me and tells me what to use instead. The blacklist is a two-column tab delimited file. Does Trados 2007 have such a feature?
Thanks
Samuel
