Hello,

Could smb please help me to resolve this problem?

I've translated a .xml file from Spanish into Russian, with Tag Editor 2007. I saved the bilingual and the target as usual, but when I opened the target .xml file I saw the the font was not correct: an "abracadabra" instead of cirilic font.

In the TM and in the .ttx file the text is correct, no problem.

Thank you in advance.

Where did you open it? In which application? Try changing the font there (for example, to Arial Unicode), and see if it would help.

Do you have the style sheet for the file? Sep 29, 2011

How does the file look like, if you open it in Notepad?

In Notepad and Wordpad it looks Ok. Sep 29, 2011

Thank you, Jerzy.

I think that now I could send it to the client telling him that the file is to be opened in Notepad. If he's not satisfied I'll return here.

He should be Sep 29, 2011

A file with the extension xml cannot be used alone.
You need a style sheet for showing the file properly.
Usually both Firefox and Internet Explorer should have given you an error message.
