Studio 2009/2011: {PCT] contamination in AutoSuggest dictionary

I often get AutoSuggest hits with what I assume to be tags, such as {{PICT}} s.

Has anyone figured out how to eliminate them?

It's not a bug, it's a feature
I.e. it's one of the flagrant Studio comportments which make no sense at all for a linguist.

The {PCT} tag is a placeholder for ponctuation marks.
If the ponctuation mark conventions are different in your source and target languages, you're SDL-ed.

It's probably possible to delete 'em using a tool like SQLite Browser but I think it makes no sense.
Too much work which will be lost if you decide to regenerate the AS dictionary.
